Happy New Year!
A new year and a new start! I love it when a new year comes around- this year my resolution is to ween myself off of Diet Pepsi. This has been one of my diet mainstays for the last 20 years! I had a college professor tell me at graduation that he didn't recognize me without a DP in my hand! Well, I guess it is time to say goodbye to it!
Other things that are going on? Well, hockey is in full swing, and that means I am creating new hockey mom jewelery. This year i will not be making the solidered necklaces like I did before, but I AM writing on the glass with my glassline pens (very small particles of glass in a liquid binder that fires away- very cool) team names and even your childs number. I can even do small drawings on them too (depending on the size of the pendant) I should have some new pictures to post soon, so please keep checking back!
Also new to my v-neck line are my new decorative yarn scarves. Stop in to Artists on Main and see the large and varied collection that I have there. These scarves can also be custom made to your order using specfic colors and lengths- just call me at 242-2586 or email me at mcesg@wiktel.com and let me know what you need!
Have a great new year!

THANK YOU!!
I had a great time at the Roseau holiday craft show! I had no idea what to expect for sales or business, but it was awesome. Thanks to all that stopped by to purchase or to just talk- it made the time fly by! Thanks also to all the people that stopped by and sat for a bit so I could take a break! (Way too much Diet Pepsi in those two days!!!!) SOOOOO, What's up next?
Saturday Dec. 5th I will be in Grand Rapids for the day at a show at St. Josephs Catholic Church (weather permitting- now that it is December, I guess we need snow!) But for all you locals to Roseau I have GREAT NEWS! I will now have my stuff for sale through the Christmas season and possibly beyond at a new store in Roseau called "Artists on Main"." Through the power of Julie Elick the local artists in Roseau have banded together to show and sell their wares at this great little new store downtown next to Jake's Pizza. The hours are usually 10 am to 8 pm, but if you see the light on and someone there, stop by and see what is available- you will be impressed with the wide and creative selection!
Remember- I would love to do custom work for you for the holiday season- but time is slipping away fast. get your orders in soon. I will also do pendants for your sports team with your players number on it. email me or call : mcesg@wiktel.com or 218.242.2586
hope to hear from you soon!

This Weekend
I hope everyone can come out to the holiday craft show at the Roseau School this weekend!
Time is getting short for me now- I have about 50 to 60 new pendants that I have created and I have to get them carded up for the big show on Friday and Saturday. Of course I won't be the only booth there, as usual there will be tons of stuff for you to look at and buy, and all of it hand crafted! Everyone can get a jump on their holiday shopping at this show!
Remember, if you stop by my booth either day and mention that you saw my blog, I will give you a free black rope with the purchase of any pendant!
Please stop by and see me :)

This Weekend
Hey Everyone!
Guess What!!! I now have a selection of pendants available at Twice the Charm in Roseau. Sinnamon has very graciously allowed me to sell my pendants at her store, so stop in and see the always changing display. Also, while you are there check out the fantastic new mittens that her and her mom have been making- you won't believe how cute they are! I couldn't decide which ones to buy for myself and how many to buy for gifts! they are TOO CUTE!
This weekend is the LifeCare Medical Center's Gala at the Roseau City Center. I have donated a necklace and earring set for the event that people can bid on. All proceeds go to the LifeCare endowment fund, so it is for a very worthy cause! If you like what you see at the auction and you don't get the highest bid...don't fear! I have 2 more sets that are VERY similar (not exact of course, but close!) that I will have available for purchase after the event. I have had a few requests for sets that include earrings so I have started to make them. I hope they go well, because I am really having fun making them!
Also, don't forget that I will be at the Roseau Christmas Craft show Thanksgiving weekend at the Roseau School. I am really excited for this as it will be the biggest show I will have done so far. Please come down and see me and if you mention that you saw it on my blog, I will throw in a nylon rope chain for free! (whoo-hoo!)
Hope to see you at one of my future shows- and remember : I will do custom orders to match an outfit, to say something special, or for whatever you want! Just Call or Email me!

Christmas is Coming!
Hey everyone! the fall is going REALLY quickly, but soon I will be taking part in the Roseau Holiday Craft Show Thanksgiving weekend at the Roseau Community School. I hope to have over 250 different pendants for you to choose from, so I am really busy creating in my basement. I am so excited I can hardly wait!!
I am going back to some of my old favorites; snowmen, stars, snowflakes, and cool winter colors that will go well with all your favorite snuggly sweaters. I may even have a few matching earings to go with some of the new stuff.
For those of you who haven't seen my stuff in a while, I have 3 choices for the chains now- gold snake, silver snake, and nylon cording that has a clasp to match the bail (hanger) on the back of the pendant. Prices are set at $20 for a pendant, $5 for a base metal chain (gold or silver color) and $2 for the nylon cords. As always, if you have a favorite chain at home, you can always just by the pendant!
Soon I hope to have a link to show all my pendants online, so you can email me with a purchase if you want. The only thing that is keeping me from getting them on sooner than later is that pesky "real" job I have of teaching! Can you believe that kids want their art projects graded quickly?? Oh the nerve! I am also going to be busy with the annual AEM (Art Educators of Minnesota) conference that I get to present at this November, and of course there is also following the 3 kids for hockey coming up. Oh well, I will just have to carve time for me and my jewelry somehow!
Well, thanks for checking in with the site- check back soon to see if I get those photos loaded!
